A little while ago we were talking about Samsung incorporating Nvidia’s Tegra processor into mobile devices. The latest is that it’s not just going to be a part of their mobile phone segment but it’s also going to incorporated into their new PMPs as well. A great idea if you ask me.
A couple of PMPs showed up on their Korean website as teasers of upcoming PMPs. The devices were the – YP- R1 and M1 touchscreen media players. The same page also talked about Nvidia’s Tegra chipset possibly being part of these devices’ hardware make up. Along with large AMOLED displays, Bluetooth functionality and DivX playback capabilities, the graphics chipset could be just what these devices need to make them top of the line in the market when they do release.
As of now nothing is official, so we’ll have to wait a bit to see. I’m personally looking forward to these devices so let’s just hope they make it here.
